Valid Referrals

Understanding what qualifies as a valid referral for commission purposes.

Referral Requirements

A referral is considered valid only if all of the following are true:

• The referred party did not have a prior relationship with SDM
• The introduction is clearly attributed to you
• The referred party signs an SDM trading agreement
• The referred party actively trades on SDM

When a Referral Counts

A referral is officially counted on the date when:

• The client and SDM have exchanged direct communication, and
• The client completes onboarding

Attribution

Referrals must be clearly attributed to you through:

• Your unique referral link
• Direct introduction with proper documentation
• Email introduction copied to SDM

Invalid Referrals

The following do not qualify as valid referrals:

• Existing SDM clients or prospects
• Self-referrals
• Referrals made after termination of your referral relationship
• Clients in prohibited jurisdictions
